Kim and James- Sopley Mill

Being part of a couples wedding journey is a pretty amazing feeling.  And when you come across a couple like Kim and James; who love to have fun what ever the method, I knew I was in for a treat! This wedding  took me away from London and into the heart of the Dorset countryside.

The gorgeous Sopley Mill is located amongst jaw-dropping wild meadows,  home to numerous wild ponies and natural beauty.  I could go on.

Kim Told me,

"James's dad lives in the New Forest and we'd eaten at Sopley Mill a few times back when it was a restaurant when visiting him. I remembered at the time thinking it would be a beautiful place for a wedding; it's on its own little island which makes it feel secluded and special. When we started to research venues it became apparent Sopley Mill had fortuitously been turned in to a wedding venue. We both loved all the greenery that surrounds the mill, the views out on to the water meadows. Where if you're lucky you will see the wild ponies grazing, and the building's character and history. The mill is provided as a complete shell which allowed us control over all aspects of the day. This was really important to us as and meant the day felt really laid back and intimate and reflected us as a couple"

Kim wore a stunning dress by designer Rime Arodaky. It was a fitted dress underlining a delicate feminine silhouette. She looked stunning. The bridesmaids,  also in white, wore dresses from Self Portrait. The clean, crisp, white colours looked great against the strong bold red and white flowers of their stunning  bouquets.  Jame's looked dapper in his suit which was made bespoke from Cad & The Dandy.

Kim especially brewed slow gin for the wedding and wrote the calligraphy on the table plan.  With so many awesome personal details to boot; the day felt totally unique and truly theirs. This really was something special!

Congratulations to you both. It was a truly special day! I wish you all the best on this beautiful journey. Love Rx
