Kiki and Lorenzo-Millbridge Court

Kiki and Lorenzo married at the stunning Millbridge Court. A beautiful boutique hotel and wedding Barn. They chose the hall because of its lovely, relaxed feel and it was conveniently close to London.   This of course also meant close to the airports, allowing easy access for all the guests who had to travel from abroad!  "Millbridge Court was the first we saw, we just fell in love with it straightaway. The interiors, the light, and we had the options for both in and out door ceremony"

Kiki and Lorenzo met 5 years ago; Kiki had just accepted her Phd offer in Lancaster, and Lorenzo was working for Prada at Selfridges. Kiki met Lorenzo after she was served by him.  She thought he was very cute..." and I asked for his number" !  It was the first time she had ever done anything like that but it worked.  They maintained a long distance relationship for 4 years, finally Kiki moved  to London in August of 2017 after she had completed her Phd.

The morning was relaxed with very little nerves. With the help of Lorenzo's best man Didi, we got some fun shots of him helping Lorenzo get ready in the morning. Didi took his best man duties very seriously!

The wedding was emotionally charged from start to finish. From the moment Kiki walked down the isle to the beautiful voice of Laura James singing "The Scientist" (by Coldplay) during the wedding vows. There wasn't a dry eye including mine. After the ceremony the guests made their way into the beautiful gardens for the reception only to be greeted by two beautiful alpacas. The alpacas were adorable. So beautiful.  I wanted to take one home with me. Kiki just had to have alpacas at her wedding after they took an alpaca-walking trip at Bassenthwaite in the Lake District (called Alpacaly Ever After).  After a few phone calls with different farms she chose Dunreyth Alpacas .

I also loved  that during the first dance they danced to "The Scientist" (Willie Nelson's cover) and then broke out into Gangnam style! So unexpected and so much fun!

The grey and blue bridesmaids dresses by Little mistress  looked so beautiful.  Especially against the purple hues of the floral bouquet fantastically arranged by the brilliant Hannah Berry flowers. Kiki wore a stunning dress by La Sposa. It was a beautifully  timeless dress. She looked striking. Lorenzo looked dapper in his suit that was made by Loriano and Nicola, owners of Officina Sartoriale in Tuscany. I really loved the timeless chic that both Lorenzo and Kiki opted for.

A beautiful day which couldn't have been more perfect. Congratulations to you both. Love Rx
