Lisa and Dean's wedding took me to Glasgow which I was very excited about. They married at the rather magnificent Mar Hall, an Edwardian Scottish mansion set within a woodland estate. Lisa had her heart set on a Marquee style wedding and Mar hall had it all. She loved the views, elegance and history of the venue and it offered the use of a marquee. She even stayed in the same room as Beyonce but I'm sure that had nothing to do with her decision :)
They met at University; Lisa was in her first year and Dean in his masters year. She had always told Dean she would go back to London. So, Dean stayed in their University town and worked while Lisa completed her final year after which they both moved to London together.
Lisa walked down the isle in her Stunning Stella York dress. A romantic dress which had a strapless sweetheart neckline and a layer of elegant lace over the bodice. She followed her bridesmaids who wore beautiful mint green dresses from ASOS. The ceremony was held at St Mirin Catherdral. After the ceremony we made our way to Mar Hall where the reception was held. The guests enjoyed champagne in the beautiful gardens before they all moved onto the marquee for speeches and the wedding breakfast.
The speeches were incredible. From the father of the bride to the best man's speech the laughter didn't stop. I was even given a part to play in the best man's speech. Something I have never been asked to do before.
Dean looked dapper in his kilt which was from a shop in Paisley called Houston Kiltmakers - a family run business for over 100 years! He and his groomsmen wore the Campbell of Argyle tartan which was Lisa's maiden name (Campbell).
I wish you all the best for the future! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to travel to Scotland and be part of your amazing day. I loved it! Love Rx
